Terms of use

Last updated 7 October 2026

These terms apply when you use Air Maps, an app made by Oscar Santin Blanco, an independent developer in Spain. By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

What Air Maps is

Air Maps shows your position, your flight's phase and an estimated arrival time using your phone's GPS. It is made for information and entertainment.

Not for navigation

Positions, phases, speeds, altitudes and times in Air Maps are estimates. They can be inaccurate, late or missing. Never use Air Maps for navigation or to make decisions about safety.

On board

Always follow the crew's instructions and your airline's rules on electronic devices. If you're asked to switch off or stow your phone, do so.

Air Maps Pro

Apple devices

If you downloaded Air Maps from the App Store, Apple's standard licence agreement also applies.

Your content

Flights, photos and the name you add stay on your phone and remain yours.

The app is provided as is

I work to keep Air Maps accurate and available, but I can't promise it will always work or be free of errors. As far as the law allows, I'm not liable for losses caused by using Air Maps or by being unable to use it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or your rights as a consumer.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version will be in the app and at https://airmaps.app/terms, with a new date at the top.

Law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in its courts.
